[Repair Tutorial] Canon 6D Camera Glass Screen Replacement

Recently, the glass screen that protects the LCD on my Canon 6D DSLR broke!

It was in my Pelican Case where I had my Glidecam Metal balancing plates. The camera was somehow knocked against these plates and broke.

It's a pretty straight forward fix or repair. Here are the steps:

1. Blow dry the screen to heat up the glue.
2. Use a suction cup to help bring up the broken glass.
3. Use a flat head screw driver to bring up the glass.
4. Clean up glue around the lip of camera.
5. Place replacement glue on the lip of the 6D.
6. Lay down the new glass into the lip of the Canon 6D.

*Note: I recommend NOT use q-tips or trying to clean the LCD screen once you have the broken glass out. Some of the cotton from the Q-Tips got stuck in the glue. I also accidentally left marks on the LCD screen of the Canon 6D. Be VERY careful.
